Charity Messages – kindnessfeed.com

Stay safe when messaging

Beware of scams and coercion. If any message is offensive, threatening, violent, hateful, fraudulent, sexually inappropriate, or pressures you to donate, follow someone or take part in an event, stop engaging and report the conversation to KindnessFeed.

Do not continue replying to suspicious or abusive messages. Block the account where blocking is available, and contact our administrators if it is not.
Keep communication within KindnessFeed wherever possible so there is a record that moderators can review.
Do not share your address, telephone number, identity documents, banking details, passwords, verification codes or other sensitive information unless essential and you have independently verified who is asking and why.
Being listed as a charity, or claiming to represent one, is not a guarantee that an individual or request is trustworthy. Verify identities and fundraising claims through the organisation’s official channels.
Be cautious with links, QR codes and attachments. Check the destination and never enter payment or login information on an unexpected page. Do not send money or gift cards because someone pressures you.
Do not agree to meet strangers alone. Choose a public location, tell someone you trust where you are going and verify the organiser and event details before attending.
If you feel in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Reporting here is not a substitute for emergency assistance.

KindnessFeed does not guarantee the identity, honesty or conduct of other users. Messages may be reviewed by authorised safety administrators as described in the Privacy Policy.
